Job Title:
System Admin/Network Architect

Introduction:
Scepter Hill is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient application administrator to oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our core and digital banking systems. This role ensures that mission-critical applications are stood up, and operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with our firm’s operational and compliance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Network Design & Architecture

    • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructures across multiple locations and environments

    • Deploy and maintain VPN solution

    • Develop and document network architecture diagrams, IP schema, and topology standards

    • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance network efficiency and security

  • Systems Administration

    • Install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and enterprise storage systems

    • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability to ensure business continuity

    • Manage domain controllers, accounts (user and machine)

    • Manage hybrid domains (cloud/on prem)

    • Build and manage cloud servers (Azure)

    • Maintain patching, updates, and system hardening in accordance with security policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 5+ years experience in system administration

  • 5+ years experience building and managing networks

  • 3+ years managing VPN servers

  • 5+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

  • 3+ experience working with Azure Entra

  • 5+ years managing domains, including building and implementing GPOs

  • Travel 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sec+ (certification)

  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (certification)

Compensation:
Pay Range: $70,000-$150,000 annually
Discretionary cash bonuses
